Usage Guidelines:

Attach the Zoo Med ReptiTherm Under Tank Heater to either the far left or right side of the terrarium to establish a thermal gradient. Ensure the heater covers about half of the floor area and is spacious enough for your reptile to rest fully on it.

This heat mat performs optimally with a shallow substrate layer (less than 2"). For enclosures with deeper substrate, consider an overhead heat option like a halogen basking bulb or a ceramic heat emitter, based on your specific needs.
